Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Sprinkled with Love

These Chocolate dipped strawberries were made for a special couple (Candice and David Lastie) when they were engaged.  They were married in October of 2009.  I brought the couple a tray of strawberries to thier New Year's Eve party last year in 2008-09.  The strawberries were hand dipped in chocolate, sprinkled, and then topped with a red or white heart.  The middle strawberry was topped with a bride and groom!

Seashells by the Seashore

These Chocolate Seashells were done for a baby shower.  The parents to be Lyn and Daniel wanted a sea theme so we made chocolate seashells along with some turtles and hearts and laid them out in sand (actually used brown sugar!!).

How to Make White Chocolate Almond Clusters in 6 easy steps

                                                   1.  Melt white Chocolate appeals.  You can melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave for about 2 minutes.  If using the microwave, carefully watch as it melts.  You might want to stir in between every 30 seconds to ensure chocolate does not burn.
 2.  Add Almonds to melted chocolate.  Use the amount of almonds at your discretion...the more nuts, the better!

3.  Stir almonds in melted chocolate.

4.  With a spoon, make little clusters on a plastic lined tray and refrigerate until it hardens.  The clusters will smoothly peal off plastic liner.  Wax paper can also be used to line trays.

5.  White Chocolate Almond Clusters!

6.  Take a bite and Enjoy!!!
