Happy Birthday! Cupcakes and Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute celebrated a special coworker's birthday last Friday.  She usually takes care of all the planning for the staff's birthdays so they wanted to do something special for her.  They surprised Angie with speciality cupcakes made by SweetAnnabels.  The flavors that I choose was chocolate and nuetella/vanilla cupcakes.  Chocolate dipped strawberries, seashell chocolates, and pink chocolate flowers were also displayed on the stand.  Angie, hope you had a great birthday and thank you Burham for allowing me to take part in her day.  Happy Birthday Angie!!

All White Beach Bonfire- Happy 40th Birthday Nonet!

This past Saturday, Nonet celebrated her 40th Birthday at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.  Her theme was an "All White" event Beach Bonfire.  All guest wore all white and the birthday girl was dressed fabulously in purple and pink! It was a beautiful day, not to mention catering done by the ultimate taco guy- Bajas Catering.  From freshly cooked carne asada/pollo/pork tacos to Buenuellos to Horchata right on the beach for the guest to enjoy as they sit around a bonfire!

For the dessert buffet, all white chocolate display was made to coordinate with the theme.  I made white cupcakes in coconut and cheesecake/vanilla frosting, white chocolate dipped sugar cookies, white chocolate dipped cream puffs, white chocolate dipped strawberries and blueberries, white chocolate cheesecake cups topped with a white chocolate dipped cherry and graham cracker crust, and white chocolate seashells laid out on brown sugar (sand).

At sunset, the whole party took a group picture by a professional photographer to remember this beautiful occassion...was lots of fun! To top of the evening, Natalie and Jasmin (my god-daughters!) did a hawaiian/tahitian dance routine for the birthday girl.  They did an amazing job! Such talented young ladies.

Chocolate Dipped Fortune Cookies For Maila and Cameron Wedding

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lampert!! The couple shared their vows on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Carl Strauss Brewery in San Diego, CA.  It was a joyful and fun filled event.  The wedding reception had performances by their daughters Natalie and Jasmin along with their dance group-such a great job! The event coordination was done by http://www.bellzandwhistlez.com/-lovely and great individuals, the wedding was a success!
Sweetannabels made each guest a take out box of two chocolate dipped fortune cookies with colorful designed chopsticks.  The bride loves white chocolate and the groom loves milk chocolate so, each cookie was dipped in either white or milk chocolate and then designed with sprinkles.  As a little inside joke with the bride, we like to call these cookies "Ebony and Ivory" Fortune Cookies! Love this couple dearly! Congrats again, and wishing you the sweetest success in your future together.
